DUNA 4 “FOR A FEW MORE LIKES” W/ R. LUNA & S. QUINTARELLI

DUNA Group is proud to sponsor the public conference "FOR A FEW MORE LIKES," organized by the Circolo Culturale Primo Piano of Correggio. Two special guests, Riccardo Luna and Stefano Quintarelli, will discuss the internet, social media, and their impact on our lives.

Internet was born with a promise: to give us new tools to express ourselves, stay informed, and feel closer to one another. Today, however, navigating social media has become exhausting. We are inundated with too much information, locked into single-minded tribes, and guided by algorithms that seem to decide everything for us. Artificial intelligence and large platforms influence our thoughts, our habits, and the future we are building. Why do we feel so conditioned?

How can we become protagonists of our digital choices?

RICCARDO LUNA is one of Italy's most authoritative journalists on innovation, technology, and sustainability. He was the first editor of Wired, the Italian government's Digital Champion at the EU, and the curator of many successful events such as Stazione Futuro, the Maker Faire, the Italian Tech Week, and the Venice Climate Week. A longtime contributor to La Repubblica, he has been a columnist for Corriere della Sera since 2025. He has written several books, the latest of which is "Something Went Wrong - How Social Networks and Artificial Intelligence Stole Our Future" (2025) - Solferino Publishers.

STEFANO QUINTARELLI is an IT entrepreneur, professor of information systems, network services, and security, and founder of I.NET—Italy's leading Internet provider, playing a key role in the creation and development of the Internet ecosystem. He is a member of the European Commission's High-Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence, the Steering Committee of the UN-Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and is Chairman of the Advisory Group on Advanced Technologies for Trade and Transport for the United Nations (CEFACT).
